“I have no interest in doing anything that I don’t want to do. I want to create art that brings about positive change and love into someone’s heart. I want to remind those that need reminding that they deserve happiness and that their lives matter. I want my music to be your vessel. I want to make it so that my family can be proud of what they started. I want the mic from which I speak about the world to change with the lens that I see the world through. I will always remind myself to let go of the weight and to hold onto the love from incorruptible sources. My energy will lead to synergy, so I must protect it. I never want to be the one to pull someone down from their ladder. I want my word to be my bond, always. I want to make sure my soul remains as my body ages. I want to love those as they deserve to be loved, even if they don’t feel they deserve it. I want to guide people spiritually the way that the greats have guided me, as if continuing their legacy.
